What Is Remapping?
"Remapping" is the process of changing the software programming of your car's electronic control unit, or ECU. This process allows us to improve your vehicle's performance or fuel economy without adding any subsequent hardware by modifying the functionality of the code or "map" parameters.
For most vehicles, the mapping ECU is located and accessed through the on-board diagnostics port, or OBD. This port is almost always located within a one-metre radius of the driver's seat.
